Wastegate: vacuum line hook up

I have a Turbonetics Deltagate Wastegate and i'm hooking that up tonight.. I noticed that there are TWO nipples on it, one on top and one on the side..

The on top is labeled VACUUM and the one on the side is labaled BOOST.

This is stupid, but i know the vacuum on goes to a manifold vacuum line but whats the other BOOST one goto?? its that the same thing?

Ron is right. The side port connects to your compressor housing. How else is the wastegate gonna know what boost your'e at in order to expel the excess pressure? Leave the top port alone unless you have boost controls. Hope that helps.

If you have a boost controller, the top port hooks to the stepping motor. If not, just leave it disconnected.
As for the side port, mine is connected to a fitting tapped into the side of the compressor nozzle.
